Lola commented last night, on the way to the store from Girl Scouts, that she wondered if people simply didn't remember things that occurred before they were alive, and if they could somehow remember, then we would know more about how things work and why they happened. A concept quite beyond the scope of my own imagination. I'm sure I haven't done it justice by attempting to describe what she said.
